The Newbould Flatspin
With the Imperial Newbould Flatspin Spin Fixture you are able to: spin grind, install radii and angles, use on a milling machine, submerge in EDM fluid, and inspect angles or roundness. The Newbould Flatspin is available in A-2 Steel or 440C Stainless Steel.
Top Side Shotpin: Allows for lock-in indexing every 15 degrees, repeatable within 10 arc seconds.
Spindle: Is guaranteed to 50 millionths TIR for one year from purchase date; the face plate is guaranteed +/- .0003" square over 3-3/4"
Submersion: Can be safely submerged in to EDM fluid by attaching an air regulator into the grease port and supplying 2 pounds of air pressure.
Motor: 1/15 hp variable speed, reversible 1800-rpm motor produces a zero to 400-500 rpm spindle speed of the fixture.
